The
quickest way to get to us by car from the motorway
is along the Sea Front:
Coming from the North on the M5
Exit at junction 21 and follow
the A370 trunk road into Weston-S-Mare Town Centre
and Sea Front. You should be passing 5 roundabouts
before crossing the railway bridge at W-S-M Central
Railway Station (directly on your left).
From here you should follow the
signs to “Knightstone Harbour” and/or “Grand Pier”.
Carry straight on at the
roundabout directly after the railway bridge,
passing Tesco supermarket on your right. At the next
roundabout (Town Hall ahead, right) turn left and
immediately right at the next mini roundabout. Carry
straight on, passing Scally’s, the “Bikers Friendly
Pub” on your left, until you reach the traffic
lights on the Sea Front.
Here you can only turn left, with
the one way system. Make sure you get into the right
lane immediately, as you will now have to turn
right, double-backing, to go north along the Sea
Front.
From the Sea Front heading North
Pass the Grand Pier on your left
and Winter Gardens on your right. Carry on past the
stone arch on your left until you see the Pavilion
Bar/Restaurant on your left. Now turn right into
Upper Church Road, go to the crossroads about 150
Meters ahead and turn right.
Florence Guest House is about 40m
from the crossroads on your right, in a row of other
guest houses.
Parking
Unfortunately parking is
restricted at the front of the Florence (1 hour, but
free after 6 PM and on Sunday). You can however
unload passengers and luggage.
There is a municipal car park at
the rear of Florence Guest House (£ 5.50 per 24
hours, £ 2.00 between 8 PM and 8 AM). You can reach
the car park either by taking the second road/lane
on your right after first entering Upper Church
Road, or by turning right immediately after passing
the front of Florence Guest House.
Alternatively (free) parking is
possible in a residential area, close to Florence
Guest House. Please ask for directions on arrival.
